Message from the Board

When standing on the top floor of St. Peters Church and looking at the beautiful bridges connecting both banks of Daugava River, you appreciate how much effort and affection has been put into this project. It is not in vain that they say that bridge connects two souls and fates. Ask any of our employees – what do they feel when they walk or drive across any of these bridges?

They feel pride and understanding that those were their hands and their labor that were used to build a bridge, which is truly an indispensable construction for the city and community.

On may 23rd, 2007 our organization celebrates its 65th anniversary, which hopefully will not be the last anniversary to celebrate. During 65 years of work we have accumulated immense experience of several generations of bridge builders. We apply this experience today, combining it with modern equipment and technologies which undoubtedly serve as the quality, safety and long-term use guarantee of the bridges built and other projects completed by "Latvijas tilti" JSC.

During the existence of the enterprise approximately 2000 construction projects both in Latvia and outside its borders have been built; this includes construction projects in Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Angola, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Yemen and Moldavia.

We are constantly upgrading our construction equipment which nowadays becomes an important factor in providing the high quality of construction works and promptness of necessary maintenance of our building sites.

Building bridges and taking part in other construction projects both in Latvia and abroad simultaneously providing high quality and promptness – that is our task covering next few years.
